Basic services near Serenity
Serenity by Nature is on a very quiet street in the community of Carrillos. The property is surrounded by forest and coffee plantations. On our property what you will hear is the chirping of the birds and the sound of the wind in the trees.
These characteristics are very attractive to many, but some people may wonder if there are basic services nearby. The answer is yes, both the community of Tacares and Carrillos offer services that are considered important. Let’s review what can be found in both towns near Serenity.
Carrillos and Tacares
Before we get into the subject, let’s talk about the communities of Carrillos de Poas and Tacares de Grecia. Serenity by Nature is located between the two. As you leave Calle La Monica you will find yourself on the road between Alajuela and Grecia. If you go west you will find yourself in Tacares.
On the other hand, if you go east you are on your way to Alajuela. Both communities are about two minutes away from Serenity by car. On foot it would be about 10 to 15 minutes
Basic Services
Supermarkets: Also known as grocery stores, both towns have Super Rosvil, a local chain of supermarkets with a wide variety. Both branches have ample parking and close until 9:00 PM.
Bakeries: The Musmanni, a national bakery franchise has branches in both towns. They open very early and close around 6:00 PM. The bread is delicious and they also have pastries. In Tacares is the bakery La Casita del Pan with lots of pastries for the afternoon coffee. Remember, with any reservation at Serenity by Nature breakfast is included.
Service stations or gas stations:The Tacares service station has everything you need for the basic care of your vehicle. You can refuel, change the oil and a store where they sell products for the basic maintenance of a car.
Drugstores or pharmacies:If you are in poor health or have a chronic condition that requires you to take medication, both locations have pharmacies that open early and close around seven o’clock at night. This Abha pharmacy in Carrillos and Farmacia Tacares in the community of the same name.
