A little history of Finca Koki
Starting in the 50’s during the twentieth century, the place was, and still is, a sugar mill. If you are wondering what a “sugar mill” is, they are facilities prepared for the cultivation and harvesting of sugar cane. Together with these plantations, there are factories that process this plant to convert it into sucrose and sugar.
Another of the stages of this consortium is to be an electricity producer for more than 30 years. In addition to these sugar cane plantations, they also have coffee farms.
As of 2022, the farm has been converted into an adapted place for tourists to enjoy different activities while mantaining part of their traditional activities.
