Set within a 1000-acre private nature reserve in Central America’s last remaining lowland tropical rainforest in Costa Rica’s wild Osa Peninsula. Offering an outdoor pool and views of the sea, Lapa Rios Ecolodge isin Puerto Jiménez, 32 km from Golfito.

17 private bungalows line three ridges overlooking the pristine pointthe Golfo Dulce meets the Pacific Ocean. Certain rooms include a seating areayou can relax. A terrace or patio are featured in certain rooms. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower.

Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking is available on site. A number of activities are offered in the area, such as snorkeling and fishing.

The property is about 20 km from the nearest airstrip in the town of Puerto Jimenez, a short 50 minute flight from Costa Rica’s San Jose Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). Driving from SJO to Lapa Rios Eco Lodge takes about 7 hours.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note there is no air-conditioning, Internet, televisions or phones on the Lapa Rios property.

Please note the property is situated on a ridge which requires uphill walking (about 200 steps from lowest bungalow to the dining area).

Please note that only children older than 6 years are welcome due to the limited opportunities to enjoy the place for children younger than that age.
